Just bought the 2024 ranger xp 1000 in desert sand color. Out the door no accessories $18,257. I added the half doors like in this video, front lock and ride windshield-hard poly , rear lock and ride window- hard poly, and roof. $21750 cash out the door.

These are ultra cool but way out of my price range.

We just got this exact machine. We have 200 miles on it and I’m going next weekend to try to trade it in. We have to wear sunglasses or safety glasses the entire time we ride constantly blows, dust off of the road and swirls around the cabin. It’s my number one complaint once we get from points to point B. we look like raccoons I had no idea it would be this bad. doesn’t matter if we’re completely by our self on a trail or not, we have a glass windshield and a back glass shield I also agree with the shifting issue.

Good for recreation, but not a serious work machine since it has the smallest cargo box in the industry. They don't need the largest, but the smallest? Come on Polaris.

For that price i can buy a $20k truck and put 10-15k in to it. It would be stronger more capable street legal in 50 states (kind of) far less likely to break. I can drive it to the trail head no matter how far away it is. Etc

For what these cost I can get an offroad capable rig with a more stable center of gravity that can _also_ be driven on-road legally.

The “down is up” window switches are a safety hazard. A cnild can easily get they’re head stuck in a closing window. That’s why they haven’t done this in cars for many years

You guys do realize there are 4 xpedition models right? A 2 seat and 4 seat ADV model as well as a 2 seat and 4 seat XP? You bought the least overlanding version of it.. like the version that someone might also use around the house for utility but its primary use is still to ride.

just got a 24 ranger northstar prem with a hydraulic poly plow for $30k out the door.

Unique set-up. I'd buy one in a heart beat if they were available throughout the USA. Seems only to be had out west. Bummer.

They haven't sorted the 4 wd rocker, when you lose grip you get diff lock on first notch of switch then 4 wd on second notch but it is still in diff lock when in 4 wd so killing all joints bushes and drive shafts as when you turn it puts extreme pressure on everything. Diff lock should be in second position and only use when last resort. Tractors automatically come out of diff lock when you hit brakes, ranger should be same.

When you got in the 2024 you said it has more storage. No it doesn't. You can't store shit under the seats. The 2014 actually has storage under the seats.
